The tickets are booked. The reservations are made. Speeches written; presentations created (well, OK, maybe I'm putting some final touches on mine, much to Bill's chagrin). The countdown to WorldSummit 2007 has begun! In less than a week we will all gather along the beaches of Coronado to discuss all things WorldServer. With attendance reaching record numbers, it promises to be the biggest and best yet.
I remember the first time Idiom ever had a customer get-together (back then it was called Product Advisory Council). I was at that first meeting, as a customer, representing my company and giving feedback on how WorldServer could become a better application. I think I've attended every gathering since, but this will be my first as an Idiom employee. This past year at Idiom has been thrilling as I watch WorldServer 9 take shape. It's just as exciting to see WorldSummit continue to grow year over year. What started off as a round-table discussion is beginning to feel much more like a conference, complete with industry analysts, partner sponsorship, and for the first time, real-time blogging.
Yes, we'll be blogging the entire time. I'll be posting as much as possible, giving you a blow-by-blow of any sessions I attend. In addition, Peter Reynolds will blog from an LSP partnership perspective, and Chase Tingley, resident content filter extraordinaire, an engineering point of view. And who knows? Maybe I can even convince some partners and customers to share their thoughts with the WorldView blog as well. It'll be interesting and educational, but above all, it's gonna be a whole lot of fun. See you there!
